Just so current users are aware, ZoneCALC will be offline after this weekend for the forseeable future. Hosting fees are far outweighing the amount of use the site is getting. There are plans, but the site will be offline after the weekend. The site has limited functionality in backing up and saving data but you can display upto the last 300 days in the history views, from which you can print a copy of your figures.
Sorry for the inconvinience at this time.

After a brief period online back in the summer of 2008, ZoneCalc went away for a while to be moved to a better host and to have a few tweaks. Whilst it has not essentially been updated, the site is now a little more organised behind the scenes to be edited on a regular basis.
This blog will outline features of ZoneCalc in finer detail as well as informing visitors of updates to the software as we go along. Suggestions welcome.
The purpose of ZoneCalc is to provide athletes, cyclists, runners, swimmers and any endurance based athete the chance to record their daily training figures for feedback as the weeks go by. ZoneCalc features a unique Form Factor tool to help you track your form, based on a points system with said points being awarded based on the training zone/session type. The form scale is purely experimental and is meant to be of some fun to use as a rough guide to how your training may or may not be progressing.
When all is said and done, the ultimate use of ZoneCalc is to track your training hours in five training zones. There are many training systems using zones ranging from 4-7, or more, and hopefully, in time, ZoneCalc will have the functionality for the user to be able to select and customise the zones they use in training. For now, if you like ZoneCalc, please generalise your training zones across the five available.
The Zonecalc site will not just be for training, it will also feature all sorts of blogs on many sports; news, reviews, articles, guides and hopefully event results.
Enjoy the site and please call back.
